AGC Asia Pacific India (AAPI) serves as the representative office for AGC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore (AAP) which strategically coordinates AGC group businesses in the Asia Pacific region. AAP manages market analyses and the sales of group products, aiming to contribute to regional societies with advanced products and services relating to people’s lives, environment, imaging, communications, and energy. The primary role of the Cross Function Project Division (CFPD) in AAPI is to build and carry out corporate strategies and plans through marketing, regional expansion and networking activities.

Location: AGC Asia Pacific (India) Pvt. Ltd. (Gurgaon, India)

Work Schedule: 5 working days per week (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)

Job Description:

You will collaborate with different business units in the AGC group to propose infrastructure and construction solutions to customers & business partners. This involves managing projects from their inception to the end. You are also expected to engage with built environment stakeholders to collate updates in regulations, technologies, and market trends.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Externally

• Contact window for built environment stakeholders to coordinate presentations and meetings.
• Participate in business networking events and business trips, understand the market needs and explore potential collaboration and business opportunity.
• Engage professional bodies / institutions for potential collaboration.
• Engage and understand the problems and needs of stakeholders.
• Present solutions and AGC portfolio to stakeholders.
• Plan and execute events to promote AGC brand and solutions.

2. Internally

• Conduct market research / survey on potential projects in selected market segments, identify the stakeholders / decision makers.
• Engage various business units

– Understanding of product performance and applications

– Collate proposals / technical specifications

– Coordinate and facilitate technical discussions

– Support the preparation of mock-up / samples

• Promptly and timely input of information into Salesforce system.
• Support and coordinate all AGC events in IN and in the APAC region
• Preparation of proposals and reports

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Facade Engineering, Environment Sustainable Design Engineer, Engineering and/or related fields
• Language: Fluent in English (Proficiency in other languages is an advantage)

Others:

• Proficiency in report writing and preparation of presentation materials
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management in infrastructure, building, and construction sector.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications with government agencies and professional associations.
• Possess a strategic mindset, good business acumen, and negotiation skills; open-minded and able to work both independently and collaboratively across all business units of an organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• High learning agility and adaptability, commitment to excel and deliver extraordinary results
• Ability to tackle problems independently yet a valuable team player
