Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited

Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited (TBANK) commenced its operation on April 22, 2002 with Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited (TCAP) as the major shareholder. On December 21, 2006, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) granted approval for TBANK and TCAP to form financial business group in consolidation and having TCAP as a parent company.

In 2007, the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank) became our strategic partner by holding 24.98 percent of TBANK shares, which later increased to 48.99 percent. The current major shareholders are TCAP and Scotiabank, and in 2011, the Bank merged with Siam City Bank Public Company Limited (SCIB)
