Work Schedule: 5 working days per week; Flexible working hours (7 hours 45 minutes)

Job Description:
As a software engineer, you will be involved in various products and manufacturing processes, and you will work on problem solving at AGC group in the ASEAN region. Initially, you will work in Japan and acquire skills in software engineering. In the future, we envision you working at our group companies in Thailand or other ASEAN countries.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Join our dynamic team as we recruit for various roles in the creation of proprietary machine learning products (MLOps). Embracing lean development, we prioritize an environment where team members actively lead the development process within defined team topologies.
- Development of frontend (TypeScript) and backend (Rust) of our in-house software for internal use. As our product line-up expands, the technology stack may change and you will have discretion in technology selection and engage in autonomous development. We conduct weekly mob programming sessions and value coding skills and expertise in CI/CD and operations within our small DevOps team.

Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for a team member with the following profile:
Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Information Engineering, Computational Science, Data Science, Computer Science or related fields
Language Ability: English (Business level), Japanese (JLPT N2), Thai (Native level)
Qualifications:
- Practical experience in Rust, JavaScript, Python, and experience with OSS commits
- Experience in developing GraphQL or REST APIs in a professional setting
- Experience with DevOps-driven development
- Experience in development or management within a team applying Agile methodologies
