Country Coordinator-Bangladesh

Position Description: The Country Coordinator -Bangladesh, reporting to the Project Director, is responsible for coordination and general supervision of in-country activities under Components 1 and 3.

Type of Contract: In-country project staff

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge:

 Preferably Master’s degree in international development, environmental management,
hydrology, or related field

Experience:

 At least 5 years of experience in implementing development projects
 Demonstrated experience in coordinating work with different stakeholders at various levels

Skills and Abilities:

 Demonstrable leadership abilities
 Ability to network, coordinate, and cooperate with partners, government authorities, and
other stakeholders, and
 build strong mutual relationships
 Proven ability to strategize, plan, and organize work, and monitor activities and budget
 Demonstrated applied research skills
 English proficiency in communication, presentation, and report writing

Personal Qualities:

 Self-motivated, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage changing
priorities
 Flexibility and ability to work hard independently and in a team
 Takes ownership of all responsibilities of the position
 Excellent work ethic
